Utah Zoom Wedding
As of August 2023, marriages conducted online via Zoom in the State of Utah are recognized by Israel’s Ministry of Interior. One of the key advantages of this option is that it is available not only to U.S. citizens but also to citizens of other countries.

If both spouses are Israeli citizens, this marriage certificate allows them to update their status to “married” and register the spouse in the Teudat Zehut (Israeli ID). If one of the spouses is a foreign citizen, the marriage serves as a valid basis for initiating the step-by-step family reunification process.
The requirements for contracting a marriage via Zoom in the State of Utah are fairly straightforward: in addition to the couple, two witnesses must participate in the online ceremony. The applicants must be of legal age and not currently married.
